Full Time Sales Office Assistant
Due to rapid expansion, we are looking for a friendly, confident, organised and resourceful multitasker. They must be pro-active, analytical, pay attention to detail, and have excellent customer service skills; be responsible, punctual and able to work as a team player, or under their own initiative, within tight deadlines.
The ideal applicant will preferably have experience or an interest in the home improvement market or, a proven ability to learn quickly. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong computer skills (internet, spreadsheets, email, word processing) and mathematical ability. They must be resourceful, flexible and versatile, have good query resolution skills, and be able to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Progressive and/or fast-track training will be given to the right applicant because, as a rapidly expanding company, this position could offer excellent promotional opportunities.
Main Duties:
- Order processing and scheduling deliveries
- Sales enquiries via telephone or email regarding stock suitability and availability
- Customer liaison
- Supplier liaison
- Customer invoice and supplier account enquiries
- Updating product information
