Imperial Vent Windows This range of Imperial size Alpha windows feature top hung vent windows over direct glazing, this range of vent windows are manufactured from either Redwood or premium quality engineered softwood, and the range includes frame only deals and factory fitted glass and frame packages.
Imperial vent windows are manufactured for the following brickwork opening dimensions (subject to technical feasibility), widths; 17¼", 25", 36¼", 48¼", 60¼", 71¼", 94¼", and heights; 30¼", 36¼", 42¼", 48¼", 54". and are supplied unglazed or factory glazed with a choice of, standard low emission glass, toughened safety glass and laminated glass. Glazing units can be manufactured with clear or obscure glass, leaded diamond or rectangular designs are also available.
Redwood windows are ideal for a paint finish. Premium quality engineered clear softwood windows are ideal for a wood-stain finishes. All paint and wood-stain finishes must be carried out in accordance with relevant Building Standards.
Imperial vent windows are categorised by frame and glazing combinations such as frame only, or pre-glazed frames with standard, toughened or laminated glass. Safety glass must be used if the windows are to be used in critical locations such as by doors or less that 800mm from the floor (see Building Regulations 1991 Approved Document N1 for glazing in critical locations).
