Duropal Star Black Gloss The Star Black gloss collection from Duropal is a range of kitchen work tops, breakfast bars, back panels and laminate sheets that feature Duropal’s Enhanced High Gloss (HS) finish. Star Black gloss worksurfaces are available in 40mm thick x 4.1m long, work-tops and breakfast-bars.
Duropal Star black worktops and breakfast bars feature Duropal’s Classic edge profile that provides a linear face with 6mm radius to the top and bottom edge. The Duropal Classic edge also features a unique seal and special design to prevent liquid spills entering cupboards or drawers and ensures a lifetime of protection against moisture and steam.
Duropal High Gloss (HS) surface is a sophisticated mirror effect for use on horizontal medium wear surfaces. Enhanced High Gloss is more abrasion resistant than standard gloss materials. Duropal high gloss laminate is a decorative finish that will scratch more easily than non gloss surfaces, additional care should be taken during installation and normal everyday use.
Duropal Star Black laminated worktops are manufactured from 38mm E1 Chipboard in range of widths including 600mm, 670mm and 900mm. Star Black laminate sheets are, upstands, backboards, PP edge banding and standard laminate edging are also available separately to match this range. PP edging is more flexible than laminate and can be used for curved shapes such as bowed ends on breakfast bars.
Star black matching worktop jointing and repair compound and colour matched acrylic sealant is also available for finishing around worktops and breakfast bars. Worktop connecting bolts, joining biscuits and edging adhesive, double sided edging tape and other accessories can be found in our worktop accessories category.
