Hooks and Bands - Tee Hinges
This category of hinges are ideal for cottage style doors, garage doors, barn doors, gates, out houses, utility rooms, sheds, large box lids, and other similar applications for domestic and commercial environments.
T-hinges also know as strap hinges are ideal for heavy duty applications as they help spread the load across the door. Tee hinges can be fitted to timber frames, wooden posts and even stone or brickwork using heavy duty fixings. T-hinges are available in standard and Scotch pattern T-hinges that are extra heavy duty. Both standard and Scotch pattern Tee hinges are available in a wide range of sizes in both black Japanned and galvanised finishes.
Hooks and Bands sometimes referred to as Bands & Gudgeon's or Crook and Bands are very heavy duty hinges suitable for large heavy weight doors such as garage doors, barn doors, warehouse doors and heavy duty gates. Hooks and Bands are available in a choice of sizes either straight or cranked that provide an off-set. Crock and band hinges are available with a dipped galvanised finish that provides protection from the elements. |
