Handy Hints and Tips: Laminate splashbacks should always be installed at least 130mm away from a hob, cooker or other heat source, otherwise a non-flammable splashback such as glass or stainless steel should be fitted.

Wall fixing channel are supplied with every splashback, the fixing channel will generally surround the entire panel on all edges and can be finished off neatly with joining and cover trims available separately.
